Today’s question is about what you need to do besides drink the lemonade when you do the Master Cleanse…
Does everyone do anything else besides the lemonade? I see people saying they do sea salt with water, laxative tea, etc…what are the benefits of this? and is it mandatory?
I’m starting the MC tomorrow and I weigh 168lbs I’m looking to lose hopefully 15 lbs at least get back into the 150?s. I’m planning on doing 7 days..and then on the 7th day keep going for the 10! I have a couple of questions..What is ” senna” and do you have to drink laxative tea? or can you just do the lemonade and water? Also do you get “the runs”? and I see alot of “SWF” what does that mean? I’m pretty sure I can last on the not eating part..I’ve done it before (not healthy i know) but I’m confident going into this..any help would be awesome!

I'm doing the Master Cleanse as well. I do SWF in the morning, and Smooth Move at night. This is Day 4 and it was a little hard for me today. Mainly because I decided to take my kids to the zoo ( a lot of walking and, ooooooo nooooo, nothing to drink). I almost gave in. I took a nap when I got home and had a dream about Key Lime Cheesecake. When I woke up and looked in the mirror, I said "Oh.... never mind". 6 more days left. ;)
I've dealt with the shaking and slight dizzy spell when doing the lemonade diet, but then I remember it's because I've been forgetting to consume the beverage in a timely manner. When I sip from it regularly that doesn't happen at all. In case I go too long without it, I keep the syrup close by. I'll take a spoonful or two and everything's back to normal.
Not eating is easy when you don't think about it but when you are consciously doing it it is insanely hard! SWF is salt water flush when i did it i was on the toilet for 2 hours!!! then had the runs all day and was shaking and starved. i ended up giving in and eating a protein bar but i will be going back on it. if you don't want to buy the book that has all the instructions get it free from the library. the easiest way to do it to have everything already in stock at your house including the book for reference!
