As a master cleanse coach I know how important it is to make the master cleanse as easy as possible.
The best way to do that is to reduce the side effects such as aches and discomfort as much as possible.
Another way is to make the master cleanse as convenient as possible.
An easy way to do that is by making your lemonade by the gallon rather than by the glass.
Caution: You shouldn’t prepare more than a gallon at a time because you are using fresh fruit and you don’t want your lemonade to oxidize and spoil.
You’re going to drink 6-12 servings of lemonade that are around 10 ounces each. That works out to about half-gallon to a gallon of lemonade.
I’ll give you the recipe for both, but first I’ll quickly share a recipe for a single serving and how to prepare it:
- 2 Tablespoons of organic lemon Juice (about 1/2 a Lemon)
- 2 Tablespoons of Grade A Dark Color Robust Taste maple syrup (not the commercial maple flavored syrup you use on pancakes)*
- 1/10 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper powder
- Ten ounces of filtered water
* Note about the maple syrup: old Master Cleanse recipes called for “organic grade B maple syrup.” The maple syrup grading system changed and grade B maple syrup became grade A dark color robust taste maple syrup.
You can play with that recipe a bit if you like.
Don’t stray too far from what’s listed here but you can make a few tweaks.
If you like your lemonade a little sweeter you can add more maple syrup.
If you like it tart you can add more lemon.
If you like it spicy you can add more cayenne.
Preparing the lemonade is easy.
- Strain the fresh lemon juice into a glass (or squeeze it right in the glass and pick the seeds out with a fork)
- Add your maple syrup, filtered water, and cayenne pepper and stir
- Some people like to warm the lemonade up, but you should not bring it to a boil
Recipe For a Gallon Of Master Cleanse Lemonade
This is easy. We just multiply every by 12:
- 12 ounces of fresh lemon juice (a cup and half)
- 12 ounces of Grade A Dark Color Robust Taste maple syrup (a cup and half)
- Just a little over 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- A gallon of water
Like we talked about above, you can make a few tweaks to this gallon recipe if you like your lemonade sweeter, spicier, or more tart.
Recipe For a Half-Gallon Of Master Cleanse Lemonade
You probably don’t need my help to figure this one out but here’s the half-gallon master cleanse recipe:
- 6 ounces of fresh lemon juice (3/4 cup)
- 6 ounces of Grade A Dark Color Robust Taste maple syrup (3/4 cup)
- Just a little over 1/2 a teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- Half-gallon of water
That’s all there is to it!
The master cleanse is a simple detox that’s been around for decades.
The folks I’ve helped coach through the master cleanse have enjoyed weight loss, more robust health, and more.
It’s a fantastic way to feel better fast.

What type of foods are you eating?
I have painful stomach issues and the first 5 days of doing this I was fine but on the 6th day and the seventh day the pain came back. I just don't know what to do to make my stomach feel better, I barely eat as it is. I've gotten to the point that I'm afraid to eat
