Lets take a break from talking about the master cleanse, and talk about one of my favorite health foods – spinach.
Your Mom probably told you to eat your spinach growing up, and if you were anything like me you probably resisted as best you could. But now that we’re adults we’re a little older and a little wiser about the health benefits of spinach. With each serving you can expect to get:
- Calcium
- Vitamin C
- Iron
- Fiber
- Vitamin E
- and other antioxidants
In my opinion the easiest way to incorporate spinach into your diet is by using it in salads instead of ice berg lettuce which has almost no nutritional value.
