Headaches On The Master Cleanse

When you first start the master cleanse you can sometimes experience some unpleasant side effects like this reader who’s experiencing headaches…

I’m on day one of the MC. I started to get a headache around 7pm and it’s grown steadily worse. It’s now 1am and I’m off to bed. I added 1/2tsp. to the 1/2 gallon daily brew. I also learned that 12tbs = 1/4 cup, so that saves quite a bit of measuring. My dad told me to squeeze the lemons freshly into every cup, rather than mixing it in with the syrup and cayenne. I wonder if the amount of cayenne I used has anything to do with this headache.

Side effects such as headaches are common as your body adjusts to the cleanse. As a general rule of thumb the worse your diet was before starting the master cleanse the worse the side effects will be. But if you push through the discomfort and finish the cleanse most people find they feel better then they have in years.

In order to help everyone looking to try the master cleanse I put together a quick survey that will give you personalized master cleanse advice that you can find by clicking here> Master Cleanse Advice

  • Does the MC tone your body or do you have to do it physically?? And also does this help to slim your whole body down or will the signs show when you finish this MC program?? Please let me know.

  • I've been on the MC for 8 days. I went in right away. On day 6 I felt a little disoriented and I ate two inchs of cucumber. On day 7 & 8 I feel the same way and I had a small amount of watermelon and cucumber, also I find that this not a good time to do bookwork, I sometimes like I can't always remember everything. Like my husband told me he wanted to soap on the shopping list, when he came home he asked me if I could remember what it was and I couldn't. I'm a 64 female and have lost 7lbs and 10 inches so far. On day 7 I only had 1 bowel movement and today none. Is that normal and should I have these feelings this late in the program? I actually did really well the first four days no problem, but after day 6 I started having these feelings. I must say I have kept up my exercise at the gym and I did work out on day 5 and thought that might be what was going on. I wanted to walk a lot, but I live on a hill and the hill coming home was almost to much, plus the weather has been hot. Please let me know if this normal or should I stop.
    Thanks, Donnie
