Mixing Up The Lemonade Ahead Of Time

 A reader writes in about making the lemonade ahead of time, and dealing with cayenne pepper.

Hi. I was wondering if you could help me with a couple of questions. Can the lemonade mixture be made up a couple of days before starting the cleasne? The cayanne pepper burns my throat, can I cut the amount in half without loosing the benefits?

I always like to make a days supply of lemonade first thing in the morning. I’ve found this offers the best balance between convenience and keeping the lemonade fresh. Unless your situation doesn’t allow you make the lemonade daily I would avoid making too much at one time. If you absolutely must make a few days worth ahead of time then go for it, it might not be optimum, but it will still work. Just make sure you keep the lemonade cold.
About the cayenne pepper. Use as much as your comfortable with in the lemonade, and then use cayenne pepper capsules to get the rest.

  • This is my third day on the master clease and I feel very light headed. Also feel as if I have an ear infection. Can anything be done to lesson these side effects or are these normal?

  • In response to making lemonade in advance.... My friend juice a ton of lemons and put it into ice cube trays. Lemon juice ice cubes... Just make the water extra hot and toss a few in and wait a few minutes. Any problem with doing that?

  • i have been doing the master cleanse for two days now, i got the mix for the lemonade from a friend for 110 oz however, when i drink the mix it burns my throat,i think the maybe information i got from my friend was a little off. Could you please help me with the recipe for the mixing a 110 oz.

  • I have just started the master cleanse, Im on day 3 now and having a bit of a hard time. Last night i felt so sick, very dizzy and ive been having headaches.
    I read that it's just the symptoms of the cleanse.
    After drinking the salt water flush I am not really having to go to the washroom much, should i be worried?
    Any suggestions on how to beat cravings?
