2:43pm Sorry I’m a little late posting this day 4 update. I was out of the house all day, and didn’t have access to a computer.

I planned on sleeping in today but still found myself waking up at 5:45am. I can’t complain because I do like waking up early.

I do notice some soreness in my legs from the treadmill session last night, but it’s nothing that’s going to bother me too much. The hunger is still there. It’s not as bad as yesterday, but I was tested today when I walked past a pretzel stand. Anyway I’m still holding strong, and I feel great.

I’ll be back with another updated before the end of the day - Raylen

10:45pm

Coming to the end of Day 4 my body is starting to adjust to the cleanse. My hunger cravings have let up substantially since days 2 & 3, and I can be around food without the irresistible urge to eat.

I’m also noticing that my sinus passages are also opening up which is another sign the Master Cleanse is working. I remember the first time I did the Master Cleanse I passed a lot of internal mucus which came out like soft rubber. You could definitely tell it had been inside my body for a long time because it help the shape of my intestines. So if you’re not seeing any solid waste come out during your eliminations just stick with it because it will come.

Rainn Wilson from The Office is hosting Saturday Night Live tonight so I’m going to relax and watch that. I’ll be back tomorrow for Day 5. - Raylen

Pretty irritable. I think I am going to go to the gym and do the sauna. I wish I could get up early like Raylen. Today I got out of bed at 8:30 then back to bed by 10 for a nap upon which I fell fast asleep. I have had energy for the last 2-3 hours which has been nice! Things are looking up!

I have an upset stomach after taking that senna tea. I feel tired and tend to become slightly irritable when I’m hungry. I haven’t cheated at all, but I almost sampled the dinner I was making for my girls(ha ha).

Day 4–I’m tired but accomplished more than usual today–even with an afternoon nap. Can you be tired and have more energy at the same time? I’m not hungry, but I’m missing “real” food–especially when I went grocery shopping this afternoon for my children.

Tomorrow will be my half-way point–hang in everyone! We’re gonna make it!

Today has been much easier for me than yesterday. i had to get up this morning and go to the health food store and get more syrup. I happen to past by some pound cake and without thinking yelled out”oh my god!” (Im a carb/sugar junky) but i immediately vacated that area of the store. i didnt get a chance to have my breakfast until 2pm but I’m still going strong and very proud of us all!! pat yourself on the back you deserve it!!

This is the first time I’ve done the Master Cleanse, in fact I only heard about it a little over a week ago and decided right away that I needed to try it. I am on day 8 today and I’ve lost 8.6 lbs. I’ve always had a hard time losing weight so I’m really happy with my results so far. I’ve only been mildly hungry and I found a great herb tea made by Yogi Tea made just for fasting, so I’ve been drinking that in between my lemonade. Good luck and great health to everyone!

6:30 and I just woke up from a nap. I feel just like you martha; more energy when I have it, but tired. It is like I have to rest up for the good energy. I am venturing out on the town tonight, should be prettty interesting not ordering a drink or food. Didn’t make it all the way to the gym, so I am going to take a hot bath before I go out.

Day 3 is HARD! I want to eat!! In that event I better go get some more lemonade. It is interesting to note that it seems like most people increase their intake of the lemonade on day 3. I am done with my daily intake already, but only drank 60 oz. on day one and two.

I,m feeling pretty good other than being somewhat tired. The daily encouragement has really helped to stay focused. I have not had much hunger since the first night. It was then that I realized I had not been drinking enough water. Since then a little hunger means a bottle of cold water. The SWF is the pits, but I feel good afterwords. Looking forward to passing the half-way point.

Well, My husband Karry and I have made through the day and it’s 7:30 in the evening, no food, I can’t believe it! Day one. The test for me will be during the night. I am a middle of the night eater. I have had gastric bypass surgery over 12 years ago, but have gained back over 50 lbs. But have kept off over 120 lbs. I need a cleansing badly. Karry too, he is a sugaraholic and has gianed 40 lbs in the last two years. This is very hard for both of us but we have an advantage because our kids are grown and it’s just us so I don’t have to cook so there should be no excuses!!
    I’ll check in tomorrow,
    Linda and Karry

Looks like I am the first one to comment today. Where is everyone?

Day 4! Longer than I made it before! I drank 2 glasses of water followed by a shot of the 2 tps. in water, followed by another glass of water. It was so much easier than working down an entire quart of salt water. Whether or not it will have the same effect, I don’t know, but hope so. I almost didn’t do the swf today to give my poor butt a break. Little sore down there. W/O it though I feel like there is crud that won’t be elmiminated and trapped.
Although my headache went away by yesterday morning, I woke up with a ripping one today and realized it was either from dehydration or low blood sugar. I haven’t had the lemonade yet but as soon as I got walking around and had some water, it went away. Thank goodness!! I don’t think I could handle another day of headache.

OK–just went to the bathroom! It works! My elimination was dark bile looking, so I am so glad to have done the swf. You just figure it will be clear from not having any food.
It is day 4 and I finally feel normal again, not sick. If that isn’t inspiration to stay on it, I don’t know what is?!
    Hang in there crew!

    Hello All,

This is day six for me. Okay, now let’s remembered what day it is and not be fooled into thinking that we can’t do it. We will DO IT and reach our goal(s). Most of us made it through the toughest part of the cleanse. Today will be the half way point and it should be down hill from there.

LINDA and KARRY: stick in there and keep doing it until you get it right. Don’t beat yourself up for failing, just pick yourself up and get back on track.

    Happy trails!
    Kenny
