Today was the 2nd day off the Master Cleanse, and I’m still not ready for whole foods. Today I’ve been drinking diluted orange juice and vegetable broth.

For the vegetable broth I put some carrots, celery, cabbage, and onion into a pressure cooker with 3 cups of water. I let it cook for 1/2 an hour then strained the broth and drank it. There’s no specific recipe I follow. Whatever veggies you want to cook up will work just fine.

It’s also okay to make the broth in a regular kettle, but I find a pressure cooker works best.

One thing that is important is to make the broth from fresh vegetables. Premade vegetable broth from the store is loaded with salt, preservatives, and other unnatural substances that can be hard on your stomach. So take the time and make your own.

Tomorrow I’ll be adding a small serving of yogurt to my diet. This will be the first solid food I’ve eaten in almost 2 weeks, and I’m expecting a little discomfort.

This is my 12th day. I feel better and lighter. Today I will start on my orange juice. I will do my best to eat better and think about what I eat before I put it into
my system. I think this support team was a definite help. Thank you to all and keep up the good work. I lost eighteen lbs by the way.
