Natural Health For Pets
Apr 6th, 2008 by Raylen
If you’re reading this blog you probably don’t need to be convinced about the virtues of natural health. You already know that eating healthy, drinking filtered water, taking supplements, and avoiding toxic habits can make a big difference in your health and quality of life.
But what about your pets?
When you think about some of the awful things they put in human food like:
- Preservatives
- Hormones and Antibiotics (from animals)
- Pesticides
You can only imagine what goes into pet food. Then think about the quality. There are numerous cases of human food being contaminated with viruses and bacteria because the manufacturer dropped the ball. Of course when people get sick it’s easy to trace their steps back to the source, whether it’s tainted spinach or spoiled meat the guilty party is usually found out and held responsible.
It’s much harder to do that with pets.
I’m guessing a lot of pets lives are being severely cut short because of the food they’re eating. In some cases the food can be deadly, like this tragic case that took the lives of dozens of dogs.
So I would like to ask all of you for your thoughts on natural health for pets. Is it something you believe in, and do you have any tips for keeping pets healthy?
