This question is about  the headaches you sometimes get when you do the master cleanse

I am on Day 2. Doing Ok. My pounding headaches began this afternoon, been trying to drink water at intervals. I think it helped a bit. I think the trick is to regulate the lemonade cleansing drink along with water. It is encouraging to see so many people talking about this. My friend just did it for 12 days. She looks amazing, her skin is brighter & glowing, tongue is like baby pink, and she looks brighter and fits into her jeans better. So I am extra motivated now.

I have no other symptoms. Surprisingly even though I am thinking of food I’m not really hungry.

I’m wondering if you have any other advice for dealing with headaches on the master cleanse

It’s common to have a slight headache after starting the mater cleanse, or any type of fast for that matter. In addition to drinking plenty of water you’ll also want to avoid exerting yourself as much as possible. The less stress you put on your body the better.

Relaxation exercises also help. Find a quite place and visualize the tension melting away from your head as you breathe deeply.

Another tip is to take a warm shower and let the water run over your head.

The previous post on agave as a substitute is a hazardous assumption. I once taught that agave as a good substitute for sugar. I teach children nutrition. Later studies emerged proving that it is as toxic as High Fructose Corn syrup. And it is. DO NOT USE AGAVE, IT DOES NOT STIMULATE THE SECRETION OF INSULIN AND IS A DISRUPTER. For more info on that visit:
Mercola .com
If you need cheaper maple syrup and there is a trader joe’s in your area, you may buy grade B in glass bottles at a cheap price. I am on day 10 of the master cleanse and I feel fabulous.

Hi Cindy… You can substitute maple syrup with organic agave nectar or blackstrap molasses.

In the single serving, there is no mention of the amount of sea salt to put into this recipe. What is the amount for the 10 oz. drink?
