Hi everyone, I hope your 2011 is off to an amazing start! Today I’m going to share the story of two people, one has been doing the Master Cleanse for 9 days and has experienced some incredibly results, the other is getting ready to start. If you’re thinking about trying the Master Cleanse for yourself I think you’ll enjoy this post.

I am nervous about this diet, but I am going to give it a try. I think a lot of people are afraid of working really hard and not getting anything out of it. Food has filled a big gap in my life, it is comforting, entertaining, emotionally supportive. It will never turn you down and will always fill that empty place. I am ready to fill that empty place with courage and confidence, and I guess lemonade. I hope to return to a healthy weight, and lower my blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. I hope I can easily go off of this diet and while limiting my calories still maintain the weight. I am at 238 currently and it seems unreal cause I don’t look that heavy. But I am unhealthy so I tried to find something drastic. I pray I can keep with this and I become a healthier, sexier 20 yr old.

Sorry, I haven’t comment in awhile but things are great !! I’m on my 9th and have lost a total of 12 pounds…. YES!!! I just have to say that the diet does work and like I mention before that you just have to take one day at a time and stay focus on your goal and what it will mean to finish. I’m also working out about 15 minutes a day on the treadmill ( I’m not pushing too hard though)… Just listen to your body and you will know what is too much…

To answer to your questions:

* I drink the lemonade about 6 times a day but I do drink an extra one if I get hungry : )

* I’m on the 9th day and plan to do the Cleanse for 15 days but if Im feeling good on the 15th day I’m going to try for another week…

Also I dont do the SWF .. I do the Herbal Laxatine Tea in the morning and at night bc I read somewhere on a website said that I have the option to the SWF so I chose to do the Laxatine tea instead and its been working out great for me.. ( bowel movements can be insane but look at it like this you are cleaning out your body to make yourself healthy)

  1. Today isy day one of the master cleanse. So far its good. Been eliminating all day long which is a good thing. Can’t wait for the end results.

  2. Hello all,

    This is my 2nd day on the MC. Yesterday (day 1) I had many daydreams, dreams and visions of all kinds of food… it was so weird and it was not as a result of hunger… just very ridiculous cravings! Today I felt dizzy for like two seconds but that’s it… I have had no headaches or other side effects.

    The scariest part of today will definitely be a dinner I organized with lots of friends at a restaurant I love… so worried but also extremely determined to only order water!

    I am yet to notice any obvious results but I still plan to see it through. My target is 10 days but if I am able and it seems worth it I might stretch out to 15 days. Glad to have this opportunity to share my MC experience and I’ll be sure to keep you updated. 🙂

    ps: I have been using white pepper and on day 1 regular chili and I hope this won’t be a problem… I’ll buy cayenne today if i can find it…

  3. I plan to start my MC today, along with my husbband. We have all our organic ingredients ready and are set on doing this!! My question.. I wil be getting my period during my 10 days MC, will this affect in any way? Will I feel sicker? Weaker?

  4. its day 2 for me. I almost gave up but then kept telling myself the past 2 days would have been a waste if i did. Really did not feel hungry but wanted to keep my tastebuds alive and kept on telling myslef I wanted a flatter stomach, more energy, and clearer vision. I understand spectacles dont cure your eye problems so my hope that the master cleanse will has strngthened my resolve to keep going.

    I really hope i can make it. Pray for me!

    On February 26th, I did a Total Body Detox (Colonic/Aqua Chi and Infrared Sauna). I highly recommend that you do this…I felt like a million dollars afterwards. Then, I start my Master Cleanse on March 1, 2011 and I’m planning to do 40 days (April 9th). Today, is my 16th day and I’m 17lbs. lightier. I do 6-16oz of the Master Cleanse and Water, using the Molasses and/or Maple Syrup, I drink twice a day the Chiro-Klenz Tea and exercise for one hour when I feel like it. I’m doing and feeling WONDERFUL. Also, I look so RADIANT and Beautiful — I highly recommend that you do this for YOU! Don’t forget to pray while you’re doing your fast. It helps…

  6. love these comments, keeps me motivated! day 3 for me and on day 1 I weighed 182, today day 3 174???? could that be true? I used the same scale and weighed myself at the same time??? Im in shock, I do feel lighter also, I will try on clothes that didnt fit me this Sunday and see. I cant believe it still

  7. I recently finished a 10 day Master Cleanse. I’ve done various fasting and cleansing protocols but this is the first time I’ve used only the lemonade and laxatives. It worked GREAT for me. From my highest weight to final lowest was 13 pounds; I went more than one size smaller in jeans got my size 4 jeans on for first time in 3 years and I feel fantastic. I concluded the cleanse on day 10 with a Dr. Hulda Clark’s liver cleanse, that was intense too. I also quit smoking in the process (double bonus). I think the salt water flush helps which I did for first 7 days.

  8. Well I started my first cleanse today. In fact, I just downed the first glass of lemonade!
    I’m not really out to lose huge amounts of weight, I’m more into the detox part of it.
    Let’s see how today goes! 🙂

  9. I’m now on day 4 and I’m doing well. I really get cravings for food after I arrive home from work. So, I try to keep myself busy and just think about my goals of becoming a vegetarian after the cleanse. It’s funny how I only crave vegetables. Lol!

    Some of my co-workers tell me this diet is not healthy. Any info I can share with them to tell them they are wrong?

  10. I’m on Day 7 of a 10 day MC…never in a million years did I think I would be able to last this long without some form of real food! The weekend is way tougher than the weekdays for me, and I have to admit that I was real close to chewing on a water cracker tonite (Sat)….so I figure I just need to get to bed early and if I’m sleep I won’t have to worry about the cravings. I’m happy to report that I’ve lost 10 lbs as of Day 7…yeah baby! I’ve been working out for approx 1 hr pretty much every day which keeps me focused as well. I decided to use a laxative pill instead of the tea or salt water…which seems to be working for me pretty well. So you ask me “Will I do this again?”…you dag on skippy I will!! Any ideas how often the MC should be taken? Good luck to all..

  11. My wife and I have started the cleanse. She has difficulty with the amount of cayenne pepper added. How critical is the amount to be added into the mix. I’ve cut it by 50% and she seems to tolerate it a little better. I’d appreciate your thoughts . . .Mike

  12. Hi, today is my third day of the Master Cleanse. The evenings are the most difficult or at least they have been, mostly because I feel hungry. But now that I have actually lasted three days on a liquid diet I am confident I can dream about solid food tonight but I won’t act on that dream! I didn’t use the salt water flush this morning because it seemed the Smooth Move tea did what it was intended to do right when I woke up this morning. I didn’t work out today, but I got out and walked a lot, which has been surprising for me overall. I expected I’d be squirreled away in my studio spending all my time in the bathroom. Not so! I’m loving how clear my vision feels and the overall lightness. I went to a natural grocery store this afternoon, I know, odd, huh? And I could smell the cheese wheels, they were so unappealing, they smelled dead, that surprised me to no end. I’ll post again in a few days, good luck everyone!

  13. So glad I found this site. I started doing the MC yesterday. I lost two and a half pounds. I’ve done my research and I know that is not fat but it was a great motivator. Here it is, 4 o’clock on day two and I am not hungry BUT i definitely came close to eating “just because” so I came looking for inspiration not to and I found it. I did a water fast for four days a couple years ago and was so happy with how my taste for fast food and other processed foods had diminished. But after a few months, I fell back into my old habits. I put on 20lbs in 2010 from too many mcdonalds french fries (like daily). I’m only 126 lbs right now and 5’4” so I don’t really NEED to lose weight but I do NEED to eat healthier. That is my goal here. Here’s to sticking with it and a healthier 2011!

  14. Well I made it thru day 1! I am now on my second day. I almost didnt make it..I was sooo hungry..or should I say I just wanted to chew on food. It wasnt that I was starving or anything it was just being on a daily routine of eating it was hard making lunch for my kids and feeding my baby girl without wanting to just take a little taste. But my husband ended up agreeing to do it with me and he helped me soo much. I was suprised he made it all day being that he works in a food establishment. But here I am on day two and I feel like I can make it! I havent had any of the headaches or diziness that i often read about. I also dont drink coffee or other caffinated things on the regular. Well I will be bak again in a couple of days and let you know my progress:)

  15. I was going to start the master cleanse feb 1-feb 11. I have tried this before and failed, I thought it wasn’t going to be too hard but it was. I want to do it for my health and I think it will make me feel great if I can make it. I am thinking the first 2 or 3 days will be the most challenging . Good job with all the people doing the clease and sticking to it!!!

  16. Hello! I plan on starting the master cleanse on Monday and I am getting very motivated with each day that passes. This whole week I have been eating nothing but fruits and veggies and salad. My soon to be sister-in-law just finished hers last week and she looked AMAZING!! Her skin was nice and clear and she looked so healthy especially eating all those fresh veggies:) At first I wanted to do it just becasue of the weight loss but now the more I have read over the past few weeks I really want to do it because I know I have sooo much built up in me and I really need to get it out and start fresh and jump start my new healthy lifestyle. I think the weight loss will be an added perk:) I wasnt going to put anything on here but I could really use all the support I can get. One of my other main reasons is because diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid problems, breast cancer..I could go on..All these things run in my family and its close like my dad, grandmother, grandfather, aunt..You get the point. But I am so scared of getting any of these and it possibly shortening my life. I have four beautiful children I want to see grow so that is one of my biggest motivations also. I hate to admit it but I am overweight also so as i said this is going to be a great journey to the rest of my life..Im only 27 so its best I get it right now! Wish me luck!! I will be back after my first day!!

Day 2 for me and hubby Im doing good but this headache is a bummer.My hubby’s not feeling any symptoms but he’s a health nut.I think I’ll donate his body to MC research.Are symptoms worse when you start during your monthly cycle because my stomach is so bloated and crampy but I did notice I could tolerate my cramps more.But Im not hungry like I thought but still hungry lol.The transition was easy because I was already on a fast.I just feel like My head is being pounded.I’m still going thu.I’ll be back on day 4.

  20. I too am doing the master cleanse. Monday, January 17th will be day one for me. I am doing to fast until January 31st. I hope to complete it.

  21. I’m on day 5 and I feel great! I’m doing this not only to jump start my weight loss but to lower my insulin. I deal with PCOS and my insulin is elevated. On day one, my sugar was 187. Today, I’m happy to share my sugar was 125. It’s been almost a year since it’s been this low without any medications!!!! Woo-hoo

  22. I enjoyed reading your post! I am currently doing 20 days of the master cleanse and I am on day 12…I started out doing the salt water flushes but moved to doing the laxative tea every morning and every night as well and found I liked the results better! 🙂

  23. i just looked in my fridge and realize that i have everything in need for this master cleanse. i just made my first drink. not bad. i’m going to try to see if i can make it thru today.
