Getting Through The First Day Of The Master Cleanse

by Raylen on December 2, 2009

The first day of the master cleanse is usually the hardest, as one reader found out…

I really want to be determined to succeed on this Master Cleanse. But cant get through day one! The cooking for the family is the hardest. Any suggestions?

The one thing that will help you more then anything is a burning desire to finish the master cleanse. Without that it’s going to be darn near impossible to go the whole 10 days. If you’ve already got the motivation then you can take the advice I give in my master cleanse book and ease in to the cleanse over the course of 3 days. Rather then jump right into the full cleanse, which can be a shock to your system, start out by cutting back to one normal meal a day on the first day and drink the lemonade for your other meals. On day two make your one meal fruits and vegetables (no meat, pasta, rice, etc.) and lemonade for the rest of the day. On day three your one meal should be fruit or vegetable juice and lemonade for the rest of the day. Then starting on day four switch to the full master cleanse.

This easing in process will help you to adjust to the cleanse. Hope this helps.

My very first day one ever was tough mentally, not so much physically (day 3 was harder) but if you can make it through those first few days then you know that you have the will power to continue on!
Its a great cleanse and definitely once its over you feel fantastic and that is what you have to concentrate on. Now that I have done it a few times throughout the years it gets much easier and is much less uncomfortable.

Hi,
I have a question about the master cleanse. I am not doing the cleanse to lose weight, just as a detox. I am healthy, but under weight for my age and body type, and am concerned about losing weight on the cleanse. Do you think it would be unhealthy for me to do the cleanse, or is there a way to do it without losing an unhealthy amount of weight? I am 25, 5’3 and weigh 115.
Thank you!

i just started the master cleanse today after reading your book. i can say its hard work and a lot of determination. I should say that i have just completed the first day and am not quiting no matter what. i have also found out that the hoodia helps alot in suppresing the hunger pangs that are definately there.

I’m concerned about blood sugar levels and the use of Maple Syrup. Is it OK to substitute Blue Agava Nectar instead? I want to start today but must have this question answered first. Thanks.

Hi Raylen

I attempted to provide a testimonial for the Maser Cleanse Secrets. I bought the e-book and enjoyed it. It got stuck at step 3 of 4!

I owned the Nektar Juice Bar in the 1980′s, have done the Master Cleanse several times, and really like what your are doing to help people. Please contact me to discuss a testimonial, and a possible two way affiliate relationship that I believe will benefit us both!
