I'm on my 4th day, and I can tell I'm going to be one of those who are hungry the entire 10 days! But, as sick as it sounds, I love the feeling. Before starting I had no real appetite for about a year. When I would eat it was only out of depression over my wieght gain. You see, I work out a total of 2 hrs a day, I used to drink a ton of water, but a doctor told me I was drinking too much, and I had overhydrated myself at one point, so I started to fear water and cut back. ( First lesson, you know your body better than any doctor that only spends 5 minutes talking to you.) As a result i started retaining water, and as the scale went up, so did my depression. Then I kicked up my workout intensity, and cut calories. This was a very bad move, I think my metabolism must have slowed to a crawl and my kidneys went on strike. And I feel like I've been yo-yo dieting ever since. I finally figured out (just before I started the cleanse) that I must have some carbs in order to urinate. It seemed like the more I drank and the more I exercised the larger I got, and all along I had thought it was an electrolyte problem.

I was very sceptical about the cleanse, it's hard to get over my fear of water. I'm also a recovered bulemic, and I'm terrified of laxitves, but I'm doing it, I'm just making certain I get plenty of water. So far, I lost 4.5 lbs. The hardest thing for me to control is the urge to lift weights, I drastically cut back on my cardio, but I normally lift weight each day, it breaks up my work day, and seems like the only thing that burns fat for me. I have a very slow heart rate and the workouts seem to help circulate some of the fluid. Is there specific reason I should not continue lifting while on the clense if I feel fine durring the workout and I am still losing wieght? I don't want to lose muscle. Would I lose more muscle by continuing to workout while fasting? One of the big reasons I'm doing this is to restore my metabolism, will working out defeat that purpose?

I stated the master cleanse 5 days ago, and everything was goning great 'till now I got a headache, feel hungry and tired, I know this happens to some people who have done the master cleanse, but most of the time is the second or third day that they feel like this, but I'm hoping it will go away by tomorrow. The lemonade is good and after the first day the salt water is not that bad.
