The Master Cleanse and Weight Loss

The most common questions I get on this blog are about the master cleanse and weight loss so I thought I would take a minute and answer some of those today. I was going through these blogs. Suddenly a question came in my mind…I want to try MC specifically for the weight loss..but one of the blogs says that it is temporary.we really need to work out to loose weight.is it a reality that the weight loss is temporary in this case as i am not fatty i just want to loose weight from hip and the waist line as i have developed flabs….so please help.

While you can lose a significant amount of weight on the master cleanse, and keep most of it off (you’ll gain back some water weight) the real weight loss benefits come after you finish the master cleanse. Most people will find that they no longer consume as much food as they did prior to the master cleanse, and the food they do crave is usually much healthier.

I am interested in the cleanse for removal of toxins and NOT for weight. loss. I have always been thin with a high metabolism. I don’t want to lose wt. is the master cleanse still for me? I am worried about doing it for 10 days straight, not only for convenience factors but because my metabolism is unusual and i don’t want to lose weight or wind up feeling faint, etc., especially when I’m working.

Is it okay to workout while doing this cleanse? I plan on doing it in two days and was just curious as to whether working out will, I guess, “hurt me” while I’m doing the MC.

It really doesn’t matter what it is called, the whole point is to get started, complete it and feel good about yourself. Share your success without sugar coding it so others can learn from what you have accomplished. My husband and I are starting it today and I will keep you all posted. Thanks to the person who has safe food list in case it gets crazy. I plan on trying not to resort to the safe food. All in all, I think who ever tried and succeeded…..Excellent job! For those who started and couldn’t make it thru, just set a new goal and try again. By the way, how many times should we do this? I did not see that question asked. Until, zoeyslim….I’ll keep you posted on my success.

This is my 2nd day on the cleanse and its by far the most challenging thing I have done. All I keep seeing and thinking about is food im hoping to stick it out though to day 10. Wish me luck!

Hi,
I’ve read the book about the master cleanse.
now I have a question, you said at the first 3 days you can have normal food/fruits for dinner, but the rest of the day drinking the lemonade.
So, how many of the lemonade should I drink at these 3 days? as much as I drink on the other 7-10 days or less?

correct me if im wrong,but for me this is how i understand how to do the master cleanse and i considered it 16days.(Day 1) i eat only fruit and veggies all day,(Day 2)i have smoothie all day probablly i have 5 smoothie,(Day 3) orange juice all day and then on my (day 4)lemonade mix, 1 to 2 cups of purified water, 2tablespoon of lemon,2 tablespoon of maple syrup grade B or nos.2 are the same,1/10 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.so between (Day 4 until Day 13)thats the one they called 10days lemonade cleanse and then (Day 14)back to orange juice all day again,(Day 15) smoothie all day,(Day 16)fruits and veggies all day and off course during the 16 days of doing this you have to drinks lots of water everyday i use purified water. the fisrt 3day of lemonade mix was not that bad i have headache and i was so sleeppy and hungry but the moment i drink the mix i was ok so i just take a rest,its my 7th days now on the 16days period and i lost 10lbs already.

emily just go to the lemonade cleanse.com everything is there for you to help you out but like what i said i just follow the 16days period and believe me it hard but trust me its worth it,the hardest thing on this is to drink 1 litter of Salt Water Flush in the morning but the lemonade mix is not that bad. i probably used 2.5 litters of maple syrup for 10day and theres still a bit left.this is the first time i tried this and for me i reccommended this master cleanse so goodluck.
