It’s day 6 of the New Year Master Cleanse and today I wanted to share some tips to help you not think about food.
When you go through this process you can be sure the urge to eat will pop up from time to time. For some of you that nagging desire to eat will occupy your every waking thought. My experience tells me that if you need to use every drop of will power you have from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed just to stay on the Master Cleanse you probably have some trouble with overeating.
That’s not always the case, but many times it is.
The good news is the Master Cleanse can help break your dependency on food and train you to eat a healthy amount food.
So today I want to give you some tips for keeping your mind off food:

The first tip is to avoid anything that would trigger your desire to eat. This means staying away from food, and not being around people who are eating. You should also avoid TV because food commercials are designed to trigger your hunger.

This next tip is simple. Whenever you feel like eating you drink water and lemonade until your hunger goes away. It’s easy and it works.

Breaking the pattern. A lot of times your hunger will start out as a pesky little urge, but as you dwell on it, it quickly grows into a massive uncontrollable craving. It’s important that you break this pattern by recognizing your hunger early and stop it before it gets out of control. There’s any number of ways you can do this. You could go for a walk, take a shower, take a nap, sing, dance, whatever works.

Have lots of things to do. Before I do the Master Cleanse I have a list of low stress activities planned. Books and movies are good choices. I also like to go to the museum. Bars and comedy clubs are fine as long as stick to drinking water.
The most important thing is not to dwell on food while you’re doing the Master Cleanse because that almost always leads to quitting the cleanse.

Today was day 6 lost .8 of a pound so total I have lost 8.4 lbs. in 6 days. I got good results today from the pysllium husk powder that I took yesterday so I did 2 of those drinks today and the 2 wheatgrass drinks along with the lemonade drinks I am glad the MC introduced these secrets because it really helps you to not be hungry and get better results with cleaning out the colon. I have been thinking about what I’m going to do different when I start eating and have come up with a good plan. What I am wondering is where is everyone? Is there anyone still on besides the couple of us that are writing in?
Day four for me. Barbara F., I didn’t know you about the psyllium husk powder and wheatgrass. How much can you take a day? It might help distract me from the fact that I’m not eating anything solid. Thanks for the tips Raylen.
I started Monday and ended Monday night :{. But today has been the first full day on the Cleanse and I feel pretty good!!! I am setting small goals, like do it for 2 days and see if I can go longer.

it’s the end of day 6 for me. i stopped drinking the tea after day 3 because it was giving me cramps. i guess i was detoxing that night because i woke up in the middle of the night sweating, cramping and dry heaving all while umm “releasing.” once i was finished, i went back to bed and fell right asleep like nothing ever happened! i felt fine after that so i decided to stick with the cleanse and now i’m on the downward slide to the end!! i probably would’ve quit but i did some research before starting and what i experienced was what other people described as detoxing.
This is the end of day 6 for me. I think I am doing great. when I started, at the end of the first day the hunger was unbearable I had to force myself to bed early. Day two was a lot better. My job takes up alot of my time so I just plan when to have my lemonade (because I work at a resort and live on the property it is a bit easy for me). In the morning I drink my sea salt solution to begin my day then I have two glasses of Lemonade as breakfast. At lunch time I dont bother to go to the dining room or sit with friend I would go to my room and have another two glasses for lunch. I usually work very late so at 5 when I am to quit work I go to my room and have another two glasses and come back to my desk and do some work. When I am going to bed I will have the last glass along with my laxitive tea then go to bed. I found that this really help me to stay focus. I agree with Raylen; think of it as a cleanse and not a depravation of food that really works.
Hi guys I started on monday and ended on monday. because i cant seem to get grade b maple syrup. Help , can anyone tell me where to get grade b maple syrup in london pleeeeeeeease. thanks

Hello all. I am on day six. The fist 2 days were great. Day Three was full of cravings for foods I don’t normally eat . I really had to use my willpower to get through the day. Day 4 & 5 were the bet that I have ever felt in my life and very little hunger. Day 6 has been ok. I woke up feeling great. Right now, I am feeling hungry. I think this is because I didn’t use enough maple syrup. I was getting sick of the taste and omitted quite a bit from my drink. Big mistake! I will definitely suck it up and make sure that I make the drink as told.
Day two for me and it is really hard. I really just want to go eat a sandwich. I am at work now and have already drank 64oz of my drink. Now all i get to look forward to is the SWF. YUCK. Well hopefully I will not give into temptation, but time will only tell.
Day three. and Im hungry.. I mean i cant even imagine going home right now to watch my family have dinner. but im determined to make it another day. AAHHH this is getting hard. i need to stay busy.
