Most people know Tim Ferris as the author of the best selling business book called the 4 Hour Work Week, which is a great book by the way, but his knowledge extends far beyond the business realm.

Tim took the time to make a very detailed blog post about how was able to lose 20 pounds in 30 days without fasting.

I don’t know where to ask this so I guess i will ask it here:

Is there age restrictions to this?
Can teenagers do this?
and is the maximum you go is 40 days right?

Greetings,
I’m going on my 4th day of TMC . I’m amazed I have not been really hungry!
Howeve in 4 days I have only lost 1 1/2 lbs?! Yes I know this is really for detox, I haven’t done anything but urinate. I walk every night for 1 hour, and everymorning I do a work-out C.D or 22 min. I have followed it to a ‘T’
What’s wrong?

I would also like to know further about this. I have been so busy with work lately that I haven’t gone out to exercise in a month.

I completed 3 days of TMC. I didn’t have any problem with the lemonade but the salt water about killed me. I had terrible stomach cramps. There is no way I could continue drinking the saltwater everyday. I drank it down ok but the after effects of pain was horrible. I think I’ll use the laxative tea next time. I had no problem with being hungry or sticking to TMC it was the salt water that did me in.

Can you chew gum or eat mints on the TMC?
