Breaking The Master Cleanse

A reader wrote in about breaking the master cleanse, and had this to say…

I just did 7 days on the Master Cleanse and I am gradually starting to eat. Prior to the cleanse, I was chronically constipated my whole life, and I was wondering what I need to do while exiting the cleanse to ensure that I will continue to eliminate daily. I have not eliminated since yesterday and the day is almost over. Should I continue the laxative tea?

Breaking the Master Cleanse is a very important, but often overlooked step in the cleansing process. If you jump right back into old eating habits you’ll be in for a rude surprise because even after a few days on the cleanse your body will have adapted to the liquid diet and eating heavy foods will cause you some serious discomfort.

In this article I’ve posted the steps to breaking the master cleanse (< link to article).

It’s very important that you ease back into eating whole foods and that you avoid heavy foods for the first few days following the master cleanse.

I have had similar consitpation problems all my like too. I am not eliminated or having more than normal, for me. I do not feel that the elimination is occuring the way the cleanse says it should therefore I feel like I am not getting the full benefits…any suggestions!
